Welcome to the Better World Economy Paradigm Shift!
Medieval Legal Precedents have kept us have kept us all in a cycle of inflation, debt, and poverty. We still use the terminology, written in our legal code, as land Lord and tenant. So too is our National and Global economy flawed, still dependent and inflationary beyond rational measure. We got democracy and technology, and the people are ready for a real change.

What is Equity?
BWEPS definition of Equity is "The ownership stake held by an individual or business in a property."
Currently, residents in rental units or leased commercial properties do not receive equity in the properties they are paying for. This is a destitution and an economic loss to everyone in the community.
Imagine a community where everyone in every home kept the value of the money they paid in rent. Just as homeowners pay off a mortgage and gain the value of the home for their payments it is possible everyone could receive the leverage and value of their work now lost to rental payments.
there is no merit in not contributing to the community. Waste is not economical Power Dynamics are the issue of our World. Economies CAN be built to respect the Equity of Shared Assets, minimizing costs on Old Constructions and giving incentive to New Construction by Enfranchising the entire municipality. This has already worked, in many places, but particularly in the case of Fuggerei, a neighborhood in the city of Augsburg, Germany, which is situated in the South-Western state of Bavaria. For nearly 500 years, the residents of the town have been paying $1 year leases.

BWEPS, the Better World Economics Paradigm Shift, is an organizing effort dedicated to ending the medieval economic system and enfranchising all occupants to receive equity for every payment made against a property. We are not a political fundraising organization, rather we focus on sharing our organizational strategies and tactics to foster conversations around the world and provide models for Ballot Initiative's to interested parties, municipalities, and constituents.
